Spiraltec is used for the fine screening of large quantities of organic materials. Because a compactor is inside the Spiraltec, screenings are collected, conveyed, washed, and compacted in one seamless flow. Spiraltec can be integrated to any existing installation.
Spiraltec is positioned in the channel. Wastewater travels through the perforated plate, which acts as a physical barrier to debris. The collected screenings are lifted by a screw to the compactor, where they are washed and compacted before being discharged into a container. Brushes installed on the screw enable the self-cleaning of the perforated plate.
